So you decide that this place looks interesting, the members seem nice, the staff are epicly awesome... But how would you fit in here?
That's the easy part. The only limits here are your mind and its creativity. Here's how this forum works.
You can be literally anything you want. You can have a cannon character in each genre we have if you'd like to. Unlimited amount of original characters. Don't bite off more than you can chew though
Every character must abide by the physics that rule their genre. The only characters that can be original Across the board (meaning in ANY REALM) are human. Humans are humans in every movie, book, etc. If you create an original human character, you do not have to choose a realm.
If you choose a realm! You can do one of two things. You can happily rp within your realm and call it a day. Or you can be sucked out of your realm and thrown into another one. Let me give you an example.
The way this works... Your character would still have its canon abilities. So, Eric Northman finds himself in Sunnydale, he would go *splat* instead of poof, the sun would still burn him, and he can still fly. However, he wouldn't know what a vampire slayer was, and if he killed another vampire they would still go *poof*. Now, lets say Buffy finds herself in Forks... She would still have her slayer strength, but she would freak the hell out over sparkly vampires.
I know it seems a little daunting. I'm sure everyone here will have characters in most of the Realms, so its not like sticking to your own Realm will keep you from RPing with good people. If you're hesitant, its simple. Join for one Realm. Keep to that Realm until you feel comfortable with a cross over.
